Look who's a Sunbeam

The whole week before his first day in Primary Andrew sang "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam" to himself constantly. He dressed up in his finest, and decided that since he was a big kid in a big class that he needed to have his own Book of Mormon. He sits and "reads" it on Sundays before church, and holds it with him during Sacrament meeting. And aside from being the kid in the class that needs a "special helper" to sit next to him (the poor boy cannot sit still, and during sharing time is in constant motion in his chair, either swinging his feet, trying to get his friends to talk to him, or spinning around in place), he loves it and enjoys being with all the "big kids."

Willa Walks!

Willa Walks! more...

18 months old today and finally walking....

We caught her standing on her own today, and once she turned from the couch took a step, so Casey decided it was time to make her strike out on her own. Thanks to Daddy, she walked all over the place. She's pretty wobbly, and thought it was hilarious to stop in the middle of the floor, throw herself down, and say "Ouch!"

Andrew thought it was great that she was walking, and kept trying to grab her and hug her. Let the games of chase begin...

Little showoff decided she could walk and drink at the same time...

Thanksgiving

Andrew kicked off the holiday with his feast at school. His class got to be the Indians.

...he only feasted on the cookies.

Andrew made the rolls (yes, wearing the costume was his idea).

Willa feasted. She ate clockwise around her plate, trying bites of everything in order.

Willa is scared of Santa...

Yes, we know it's early, but who wants to stand in lines? Andrew thought it was great to see Santa, really chatted him up, but as you can see Willa had different ideas. The minute she sat on his lap she flipped out. When we picked her back up, she clung on to us like a little spider monkey and kept telling Santa "bye."
